"Motorola RAZR V3 for T-Mobile"

This phone is one of the hottest models out there, originally released by Cingular, I picked this one up when I heard it was coming out for T-Mobile.  The ultra thin design is an eye catcher and probably the biggest reason people go for this phone.  When I got it I saw the features were pretty good.  Not only does it have a camera built in but also video capture.  You can only capture 15 seconds at a time, but still its not a bad feature.  The phone is Internet ready if you pay a little extra to T-mobile to get access.  The MP3 ring tones are also a plus.

As I read before I got the phone, the outside of this silver RAZR is prone to many smudges, but not a big deal if your not picky.  My only problem, and it was a major problem, was not with the RAZR itself, but the service T-mobile provided.  A few days after I got the phone (which my fiance also got, since we got them on a family plan), We noticed that she was not receiving the text messages I sent her during the day.  We even tested it at home, and there would be no notification of the message.  When she looked in her inbox, the message was there but it was showing as if it had already been opened.  We called T-Mobile on this, and we got transferred to every department, and told every story on this problem.  They said it was a known problem that they were working on, then another would say they never heard of it, then yet another would go through steps in resetting the phone, and NOTHING worked.  This went on for a couple months, same run around, same stories.  We even took them to the T-mobile store and the workers couldn't even figure this out.

Eventually we ended up canceling the service and switching to Verizon.  I'd recommend the phone as its a nice model and you'll be fine if you get it for Verizon or Cingular.  But if you are getting it with T-Mobile I'd definitely recommend testing it out first, because if problems arise, T-mobile's customer service might not get your problem fixed and you'll be stuck for months without the service you're paying for!  Other than that, unless your picky about specifics, this is a quality phone.
